This is the ideal moment for a Moog fanatic to dive deep into sound design on Moog synths. Amptec organizes, in close collaboration with Dan Lacksman of Synsound Studio, a Moog sound design workshop with some of the new range of Moog synthesizers : the Sub 37, the Mother-32 and the Minimoog Model D.
As a young recording engineer and musician, in the early seventies, I soon became fascinated by a revolutionary new instrument : the analog synthesizer. In spite of the evolution of electronic keyboards with the appearance of digital machines, samplers, virtual analog, plug-ins, etc. I always kept a preference for the real analog beasts, and especially the Moogs. So I always kept my venerable Moog Model IIIP, with which I did sounds in songs like "Moskow Diskow", "Born To Be Alive" en "Laat me nu toch niet alleen" ready to use in my studio. That is why, thanks to Amptec and its lovely team, I will be very happy and proud to demonstrate it for you, with some of the new range of Moog synthesizers : the Sub 37, the Mother-32 and the Minimoog Model D. Looking forward to see you. Best regards, Dan Lacksman Number of participants 10 per session Cost Free of charge.
