What’s happening ?
Released almost 8 years ago, in 2009, Sony’s DWX wireless system is still the most powerful in the market.
While other brands keep trying to catch up, Sony’s digital engineers keep leading with true innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possible with Digital Wireless technology.
The lowest latency in the market (1,5ms), no-compromise 24 bit/96kHz performance, remote control and automatic logging of up to 80 transmitters by PC, Android® and iOS® devices and 3 different codecs optimized for low latency and the most stable transmission are all completely unique features to Sony DWX.
Sony DWX is also the only professional system with a complete product line-up, offering both dual portable and rackmount receivers, with handheld, beltpack and XLR plug-on transmitters.
Some of the most trusted ears in the business claim they can’t hear a difference between Sony DWX and a wired cable microphone.
With over 300 units sold in BeNeLux, availability is very well guaranteed, even for huge productions.
Sony has been adding features to the DWX product family on a very regular basis, while still ensuring compatibility between older and current versions, and will continue to do so... Stay tuned for more news the upcoming months !
New firmware for DWX-N
As another sign to Sony’s continuous dedication to the DWX family, we are happy to announce the release of new firmware of both the DWX-N DWTB-01N beltpacks, DWM-02N handhelds and DWR-R02DN receivers.
The new 1.18 firmware for the 470-710MHz wideband receiver DWR-R02DN, completely reprograms the receiver FPGA which improves the internal timing, and as a result offers even better RF stability than before !
The second upgrade for the DWX-N handheld and beltpack transmitters offers a 4th battery type visualization, optimized for 2500mAh NiMH batteries such as the Panasonic Eneloop Pro.

Sony DWX bootcamp
With the most powerful system in the market, well-trained users are a must, and therefore we organize Sony DWX Bootcamp workshops on a regular basis.
Topics covered are : in-depth features of DWX, but also the differences between analog and digital wireless, phase shift keying, how to setup antennas, build a frequency plan, etc.
If you would like to organize a private DWX bootcamp in your company, just let us know, and we’ll make it happen !
